Kitchen and Living

The kitchen is at the heart of this home. It is approx 10m by 5m and houses a well equipped kitchen area, a farmhouse dining table seating 10 people and a very comfortable seating area with big squashy sofas. A second table can be provided if more seating is required, but during the long summer months eating al fresco is high on the list of most people staying in this glorious area of France. For cold winter months there is a large log burner.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, as well as all the other appliances you would expect. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The house has central heating which is powered by the log burner or by gas. Also provided are internet, TV with English free-view channels and a small DVD library and DVD player.

Also downstairs is a separate lounge with sofas, books, and tourist information. This is a quiet get away for those wanting to escape the sociable hub of the kitchen. Normally a guitar and keyboard are left in this room.
Games Room

I mustn’t forget to mention the vast games room either. It offers table tennis, Pool, table football, darts, board games and jigsaws and toys for younger children. There is also a selection of bikes available to our guests and these are stored in the barn.
