Getting Here

The Farmhouse is situated off a quiet country road in the middle of the countryside 3km outside the village of Gondrin, in the department (district) of Gers.

 

There are five main airports within 2 hours drive.

We always use either Bordeaux or Toulouse with bmibaby, Easyjet or British Airways. Both are good airports with all the main car hire operators available. The other airports are Pau and Bergerac, and a bit further away is Biarritz.
I haven't used these three, simply because they are not so convenient for me. Ryanair, flybe, and British Airways are worth looking at for these three airports.

 

By car the drive from Calais is approximately 10 hours.

Obviously this can vary enormously depending on who is driving.
Crossing to St. Malo or Caen reduces the drive time, but increases the time on the Ferry. Also long crossings down to Bilbao and Santander in Spain are an alternative and would leave a drive time of 3 to 4 hours.
